Following the first of two renovation phases, the ewz office building in Oerlikon now presents a more sustainable and welcoming appearance. The vibrant centrepiece of the modernised floors is the newly designed atrium, which houses the entrance area, reception and cafeteria. The distinctive environment for over 520 employees of the City of Zurich’s electricity works is characterised by GLAESER’s striking interior design. The high-quality joinery, such as the curved reception desk, various seating and plant arrangements, as well as bar elements, seating alcoves and telephone booths, impress with their unique forms, ingenious functions and sustainable materials.
